![]() PA1 - Workshop Committee establishment Original description of the PA: The Workshop Organizing and Technical Committees are of extreme importance for the success of the project. This is why all partners will have the task to nominate members. Once established the committees will have to shape the calls for papers, call for students’ competition, appoint web-chair to create a Web link about the small project and update it according to the activities. Each partner will contribute nominating members of the Committees and in describing their duties for the successful execution of the workshop. Output and remarks: Both Workshop Organizing Committee and Workshop Technical Committee have been successfully established in time. PA2 - Papers review and student projects selection for ISVCS2011 Original description of the PA: In order to implement this activity partners will: - Set up a judges’ panel from volunteers to review the submitted papers and innovations from students. - Ensure that the winner(s) are recognized in the workshop program and represent their innovations. - Announce the winner(s) during the ISVCS2011 Conference (t.b.c. with E.A.I.). - Find sponsorship opportunities for the Student Innovation Competition Each partner will nominate external expert(s) to participate as reviewers and evaluator for the scientific papers. Output and remarks: The exhibition site and final event has been detached from a mayor international event because of the difficult match between the project needs (location: SEE country; timing: 2nd half of November) and the possible related mayor events scheduling. The stand-alone final event of the competition has therefore been organized in Trento, the 17th November 2011 with the co-sponsored of the European Alliance for Innovation (www.eai.eu ). Expected outputs: - Agenda of the event based on the selected papers has been created (see Annex 2). - Exhibition of posters and winners’ papers presented during the “Ph.D. Students Competition on Innovation in the Automotive Sector – the WINNERS day” in Trento, 17th November 2011, based on the poster selection and students projects selection. PA3 - Workshop preparation and execution Original description of the PA: The aim of this activity is to disseminate results, knowledge, increasing of awareness about e-mobility, engage relevant bodies into discussion about safe and sustainable transport solutions in SEE and transfer of knowledge from western EU countries. Each PP will be responsible for organizing of 1dissemination event in its country. Output and remarks: The Workshop (Trento, 22-23 February 2011) has been successfully prepared and executed. (www.autoclusters.eu/index.php/project-news/212-6th-autoclusters-project-meeting ) PA4 - Students awards and internship Original description of the PA: The students’ competition aims to encourage the students’ creativity from one site and companies from the other to take advantage from working with the most talented students. The internship programs will be defined after the three winning student projects are selected and based on the interest of the industry/research site. The aim is to let students work on real projects and gain practical experience while the host structure will benefit from having excellent students onsite for testing or further improving/developing their ideas. Each partner will contribute to promote the competition and find supporting companies/institutions interested to host the selected students. Output and remarks: The competition rules have been discussed and agreed by partners. Nevertheless, the expected output of 3 students programs for internship in companies or research centers has been missed. It was planned to run 1 month (November 2011) students’ internships for the country winners of the competition. The choice to run internships within partners’ institutions was due to two reasons: (1) cover the costs for students’ travels to the event, (2) facilitate the students’ work on FP7 proposals (WP6). It was planned to organize internships for winners in Bulgaria, Italy and Slovakia. For local reasons connected to partners’ rules, in Romania and Slovenia it is in fact impossible to employ students. In Italy we registered the lack of students’ submissions (see: Conclusions). At the end of the period only the internship in Bulgaria and Slovakia became reality: - Bulgaria: internship correctly accomplished. o Student name: Krasimir Krustev o Affiliation: Ph.D. Student at. TU-Gabrovo o Internship period: 1.11.2011 - 30.11.2011 o Internship main institution: TU-Gabrovo, Bulgaria o Internship tutor: Prof. Ilarionov o Contract type: part-time o Gross salary: 230€ o Assigned tasks: Survey on electric vehicles with changeable battery. - Slovakia: o Student name: Martin Beluský o Affiliation: Ph.D. Student at. MTF STU Trnava o Internship period: from April to June 2012 o Internship main institution: TU Iasi, Romania o Internship tutor: Dorin Lucache o Contract type: part-time o Gross salary: (not covered with Project budget) o Assigned tasks: Survey on electric vehicles with changeable battery. PA5 - Project publications and evaluation Original description of the PA: This activity is needed in order to further disseminate the project results and to make a quality check on the event /small project execution. The results from the evaluation and recommendations will be used to prepare a final report on the project as disseminate/ present as best practice from AUTOCLUSTERS project. Each partner will contribute to preparing an evaluation questionnaire and nominate external experts as evaluator of the workshop including the students’ competition and study visit. Output and remarks: - 1 pilot action: the competition itself has been correctly accomplished. - 1 evaluation report: the competition – that is the innovative character of the small project – has been evaluated by experts . PA6 - Study visit and partnership event at TIS Innovation Park, Bolzano, Italy Original description of the PA: The aim of the study visit is to exchange experience with experts from TIS which is an advanced center in the field of ICT for sustainable transport and has sound record in FP6 and INTERREG funded projects. The partners and their external experts will have also time to discuss project ideas and future collaboration with TIS units and partner-companies. Each partner will send a staff member and at least one external expert to a study visit to TIS Labs and partner-companies. Output and remarks: - Study visit at TIS Innovation Park (Bolzano, Italy): executed in February 2011. - New partnerships established with IVECO DV and Autotest S.p.A.. |
