CREATE-NET is a unique international research center based in Trento (Italy), in which some of Europe’s finest researchers are brought together in a dynamic environment in order to engage in innovative quality projects. Through the creation of synergies between leading academic institutions, companies and research centers in Europe and around the world, CREATE-NET drives to achieve the highest quality research and innovation, and helps to convert talent and human capital into patents and start-ups for promoting European high-tech competitiveness. The aim is to build a global platform of scientific collaborations and experimentation in communications-driven technologies and applications.

Established in 2003 as a non-profit association, CREATE-NET pursues research and development activities through 4 dynamic areas using core skills in advanced communication technologies. CREATE-NET supports its research activities through a Testbed based on an open environment principle, it provides distributed, operational, high-bandwidth telecommunications infrastructure for testing advanced technology and services.

CREATE-NET works closely with governments, industry and community alike, promoting European growth and exposing various layers of the global research world in Italy. Funded projects with leading institutions in the U.S., China and Israel have given CREATE-NET a respectable and competitive international name for itself.
