| GROWING UP INFRASTRUCTURE FOR EV IN BULGARIA |
|
The mayor of Sofia Jordanka Fandukova and Chairman of the board of ‘’CEZ-BuLgaria”, one of the biggest power suppler in the country, have signed Memorandum agreement for collaboration in development of e-mobility activities. The main objectives of this Memorandum are to create, in a very short time, all necessary circumstances for development and building a new infrastructure for EV in Sofia.
The municipality will be engage for creating a very simple license procedure when permission for building charging station will be require. In the same manner, “CEZ-Bulgaria” will give up simple permission for new power connection point. As a result of this agreement, the company “FULLCHARGER-Bulgaria, daughter company of ”Full charge”-Paris, has started to build the first seven charging station in a central area of Sofia. At the beginning, charging will be paid by vouchers, paid in advance. Later it will be possible through smart debit or credit cards. One single charge, which guarantee 150 km run, will cost around 5 Euro, according the price of electricity in Bulgaria. Also there is proposal from Bulgarian company “Renergy” to endow to the municipality six charging station in a total price of 50 hundred Euro. The first two years charging will be done with out payment and all expenses will be covered from the company. National industrial Cluster “Electrical vehicles” has estimated that in Bulgaria, at the moment, there are around 1100 EVs, but amount of brand produced cars is only 10. Now on Bulgarian market three brand EVs, made on the same technological platform, are available- Peugeot iOn, Citroen C-Zero and Mitsubishi i-MiEV. The average price is around 28000 - 35000 EUR including VAT. For this reasons Bulgarian Minister of Economy and Energy, Traicho Traikov, has announced that on government level some encouraging measures for EV are discussed, such payment with out VAT, free charge registration, parking and etc. Main automotive market players expect that sales of VE in 2012 will grow up, that’s why FULLCHARGER-Bulgaria plan to establish network of 150-200 charging stations, up to end of the year.
