 Faculty of Materials Science and Technology in Trnava, Institute of Industrial Engineering, Management and Quality declares in the international conference CO-MAT-TECH 2012 the 2nd year of the competition for postgraduate students in a Ph.D. programmePh.D. COMPETITION ON INNOVATION IN THE AUTOMOTIVE SECTOR 2012 about the best work aimed at the development of innovation in the automotive industry. Co-organizers of the Ph.D. Competition are Automotive Network for Innovation in South East Europe (ACSEE) and project partners AUTOCLUSTERS. The competition is open for daily and external Ph.D. students. Deadline for registration of the participants: 30 June 2012.
WHAT IS A Ph.D. COMPETITION ON INNOVATION IN THE AUTOMOTIVE SECTOR 2012? The Ph.D. COMPETITION ON INNOVATION IN THE AUTOMOTIVE SECTOR 2012 is the 2nd year of the competition for postgraduate students in a Ph.D. programme. The competition gives the students an opportunity to showcase their work to experts within the field of Innovation in the automotive sector. Students are asked to submit a paper under one of the Ph.D. Competition topics: MANAGEMENT, INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING, PRODUCTION QUALITY, FUTURE OF THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY with focus on "INNOVATION IN THE AUTOMOTIVE SECTOR". The first year of the competition was intended for the Ph.D. students of the AUTOCLUSTER project partners. After the successful first year we are extending this competition also for the students from other EU and non EU countries. INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS All papers and posters must be written in English. Maximum 2 students per a paper and a poster. Students are required to submit a paper and a poster in PDF format. All papers shall be formatted for an A4 size page, the bottom and top margins shall be 25 mm, the left margins shall be 35 mm and the right margin shall be 20 mm. All papers must be max. 10 pages, min 3 pages. Please refer to the templates for full guidelines. REGISTRATION AND SUBMISSION Registration and submission of the papers is through the conference e-mail: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. COMPETITION RULES All submitted and accepted papers will be evaluated by the Evaluation Committee (representatives of scientific board of the conference): from all submitted and accepted papers will be selected 3 winners, every paper will evaluate by two experts. PRIZES All applicants: will get CDs with all papers, will have the poster displayed during the international conference COM-MAT-TECH 2012, will have the papers placed in the Proceedings of the international conference COM-MAT-TECH 2012. The finalists: will be announced online (AUTOCLUSTERS and CO-MAT-TECH conference website), will be published in the journal "Managers Forum ", will get interesting financial prize. The winners: will have a chance to present their work at an international event DEADLINES
