Pilot projects followed results and outputs of Innovative trends and main challenges in Automotive Industry.. Based on the results of Innovative trends and main challenges in Automotive Industry. were created 4 working groups in 4 specific areas. These working groups were important in the phase of preparing 3 small innovative pilot projects and helped us to create better picture about current opportunities and trends in automotive industry. The overall goal for each working group was to develop the appropriate list of cooperating projects, they could be realized as the project pilots. Project had to be innovative, include the direct link between R&D institutions and producers SMEs. The project had to show the real application of R&D in praxis but also had to taken into account the real usability. In connection with small innovative pilot projects there is the second aim – to prepare three FP7 project proposals. Small project will help us to better generation of specific research fields for FP7 project proposals and to contact the relevant R&D organizations, firms and universities.
Innovative trends and main challenges in Automotive Industry. consists of 4 sub packages:
Creating 4 working groups in specific areas
Elaboration of perspective cooperation projects list by each group in each selected area
Realisation of 3 selected small pilot cooperative projects as project pilots
Preparation of FP7 project proposals for 3 selected pilot cooperative innovative projects
Description of the activities performed during the period March 2010 February 2011
In the early phase of WP6 we had to create certain Methodology for realization the whole WP6. Methodology was focus on creating working groups and process of project selection. Besides Methodology very important for project consortium were project meeting. On these meeting we could discuss details about WP6 realizations, create ideas, suggest solutions, generate project ideas and build partnership. After our project meeting workshops we have created Perspective cooperation project list with 18 project ideas in 4 specific areas. Creating 4 WGs in areas:
1. Plastics and non-metal materials
2. Metal press parts & welding
3. Technology and electronics
4. Green technology
After generation ideas phase we have started project selection process. Before project selection process all partners approved proposed conditions. From 18 project ideas were created 11 small project proposals. Only 3 the best evaluated project proposals could be realized in next realization phase. The winning small cooperative innovative projects were:
- Electromobile infrastructure analysis in SEE
- Open Access Platform for Cooperation between Innovation Actors in the Automotive Industry
- Automotive Networks Workshop at TIS Innovation Park Bolzano
From August 2011 we have started writing detail Application Forms of 3 selected small projects. We had to prepare basic project characteristics, like:
1. Project Identification
2. Partnership
3. Project Description
4. Project Activities
5. Budget
6. Time plan
After writing these all details we have started with real implementation of these 3 selected small projects. All three small project will realized till end of 2011.
The second focus of Innovative trends and main challenges in Automotive Industry. is oriented on preparing three FP7 project proposals. From autumn 2011 we work on generating ideas for FP7 project proposals and we identify actual project calls. Our aim is to write minimum one project proposal in area of Green Cars Initiative. In this phase we work on looking for potential relevant project partners with focus on specific research fields in green cars. Beside this FP7 project area, we are interested in exchange study programmes projects and other possible and interesting topics.
All project partners are in the phase of generating external project partners with strong baseline on research and second important point of our project work on Innovative trends and main challenges in Automotive Industry is focused on generating the best research specific and scientific fields which could be eligible for project proposals. We had several negotiations with companies and universities regarding FP7 project proposals. Till end of February we have identified several research topics for our FP7 project proposals |
