Primorska institute for Natural Science and Technology Koper at University of Primorska (UP PINT) is founding the laboratories for basic and applied research from mathematics, information and natural sciences. The UP PINT is firmly connected with the Faculty of Mathemathics, Natural Sciences and Information Technologies (UP FAMNIT). Together they present the institutions accorded for engineering and technology sciences at University of Primorska. While the UP FAMNIT performs various engineering and technology courses, the UP PINT aims to transfer this knowledge into practice by running several research and development projects, stimulated by the industry of Primorska. Recently Center for single science and development (POZNAR) has been established. Its basic research goal is to overstep the traditional and sharp limitation between four fundamental fields of science with the interdisciplinary approach and to emphasise the research from the point of view of legal and other social science, especially constitutional analyses and ethical-philosophical evaluations.
